Unlike standard online ordering platforms, we stay involved in the planning so your catering experience feels organized, polished, and hassle-free.
Question 02 02 How It Works How does Epicater work? We learn what your team needs, then build a custom proposal and help supervise the early orders.
We connect you with a food expert who asks about your office's needs, dietary restrictions, service style, and budget.
Using that information, we put together a tailored proposal with menus that fit your team. From there, your Epicater contact books and supervises the first catering sessions to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Question 03 03 Vendor Network What kinds of restaurants do you work with? From restaurants and food trucks to private chefs, the lineup is broad and flexible.
Our network includes standout local restaurants, food trucks, private chefs, and caterers across the GTA.
Whether you want Ethiopian, Filipino, sushi, or something classic like pizza and wings, we can usually source an option that fits the moment.
Question 04 04 Ordering I do not see any menus on your website. How do I place an order? Menus are customized, so the first step is a quick planning conversation rather than a static order sheet.
To place an order, start by filling out our catering request form. One of our food experts will reach out to understand what you need.
We prefer to build menus around each request so the recommendations match your headcount, event style, dietary needs, and budget.
Question 05 05 Lead Times Can I place an order a day before the catering? We can sometimes move within 24 hours, but more notice creates stronger options and execution.
We can fulfill some orders within 24 hours, but we strongly prefer at least 48 hours of notice.
That extra time lets us work with vendors to secure the best menu, service plan, and timing for your event.
Question 06 06 Changes & Cancellations Can I cancel or change my order once it is placed? Yes, but earlier notice gives us more room to adapt and protect your refund eligibility.
We can typically accommodate order changes and cancellations when we receive at least 72 hours of notice.
Within 72 hours, vendors have often already started purchasing ingredients and preparing for service, so we cannot guarantee changes or refunds. If something urgent comes up, reach out anyway and we will do our best to help.
Question 07 07 Minimums What is the minimum order you require? Most bookings start around a $300 minimum, with some flexibility depending on the situation.
We typically require a minimum order of $300.
That said, we can review special circumstances on a case-by-case basis and recommend the best path forward.
Question 08 08 Availability What are your hours of operation? Core support runs weekdays, with after-hours coverage available by email.
Epicater HQ operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
During nights and weekends, our food experts are still reachable by email for time-sensitive questions.
Question 09 09 Order Support If my order has not arrived, what do you do? Our team stays close to vendors and steps in quickly if timing or service issues come up.
Timeliness and craftsmanship matter a lot to us. We hold vendors to a high standard and stay in close contact with them throughout the process.
If something goes wrong during an order, our customer service team works quickly to correct it and keep your event on track.
